Welcome to Grassharper Corner!

Deborah Harper, Amelia L. Johnson High School

Hello, ALJ students! This site is dedicated to communicating with you and your family. This year will be a year of experimenting and discovery with this technology and we will discover how best OUR site(s) can SERVE our needs. For example, each class will have their own calendar that will track what happens in class daily so that you can keep up even when absent. There will be lots more to see and do this year. I have several sites that I believe will make it all come together. I want and need your feedback and all questions are welcome!

Websites selected with specific goals in mind:

Grassharper Corner This is my HomePlate -- the goto page where you can find links to all web sites used for your specific class work and assignments. This is my domain--a site that can be easily remembered and even goggled! Once here, you can navigate to other web pages.

GrassharperCorner Wikipage. These are my Teacher Pages where I will post class work, lesson activities, and calendars.

GrassharperCorner2 Wikipage. These are my Student Pages where students will post class work (works in progress and collaborative projects, for example, such as postings, data entry, timeline, or calendar). Students may use an assortment of other programs including Glogster for developing interactive posters demonstrating learning goals and interests.

Grassharper Corner Blog This site is hosted by Edublogs.org and is designed for teachers and students in the k-12 classroom setting. We will be able to safely dialog over engaging topics and questions that generate classroom learning at all levels!

Edmodo Secure social Learning Network for Teachers and Students Here is the Communication Hub of our classroom activities.

Exciting and new experiences are ahead. Technology is here--let's use it to our advantage!
